When we set out to revolutionise ready-to-drink coffee and tea, we wanted to create a line of products that were as healthy as they were delicious. Cold-brewing coffee & tea provides a number of health benefits, in part due to the different conditions of the brewing process and the high-quality ingredients we use.
It's no secret that hot coffee can upset your stomach. Indigestion, heartburn, acid reflux; Even one cup a day can play havoc on your gut. Cold Brew Coffee, however, might just play a little nicer with your body. Due to the presence of certain compounds unique to the cold-brewing process, substituting your morning coffee for a Cold Brew could save you a lot of hassle, and leave you feeling fresh for the day ahead.

Caffeine and Cold brew: the science behind a buzz
Cold-brewing coffee and tea often leads to a distinctly higher caffeine content than hot brews - and let’s be honest, caffeine is kind of great. Caffeine is a wonder drug for productivity, giving us the energy we need to make it through busy days. Throughout the day, our brains produce adenosine, which slowly builds up and makes us sleepy. Conveniently, caffeine binds to the receptors that usually bind to adenosine, decreasing the effectiveness of the chemical, keeping us awake and focused for longer. This also, quite nicely, has the benefit of increasing our dopamine absorption, which makes us feel happier!
Due to a cold brew’s higher caffeine content, these effects are multiplied in comparison to a regular coffee or tea. Don’t drink too much, though. We know that caffeine isn’t always great for everyone, and we aren’t liable for any injuries as a result of bouncing off the walls.
